White Fang was generally released in theaters on January 18, 1991. Produced by Walt Disney Pictures in association with Silver Screen Partners IV and distributed by Buena Vista Pictures Distribution. Based on the 1906 novel "White Fang" by American author Jack London.
The film follows a young man traveling to the Yukon during the Klondike Gold Rush who forms an unexpected bond with a wild wolf-dog. As their paths cross in the harsh northern wilderness, both must learn to trust one another while facing the dangers and challenges of frontier life. Through perseverance, compassion, and mutual respect, their relationship grows from wary encounters into a powerful partnership. The film is an adventurous and emotional story about survival, loyalty, and the enduring connection between humans and nature.
